A Quick Postage Update

April 21, 2020

Shipping update

A quick update re Deliveries, including Longer Posts and standard parcels.

We received the message below from Parcelforce.

Due to the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19, we may on occasion have to limit the volume we accept into our network to ensure our people can operate safely. So we have taken the decision with effect from Monday 20th April to suspend our express24large and express48large services for the time being.

Therefore please do not attempt to send any large parcels with us from Monday, as we will not be able to process them.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please be assured we will endeavour to lift this service suspension as soon as we are able to.

The longest post we can now send with our usual couriers APC Overnight is 5ft, This is the standard post length on our Large Ladder signs, Extra Large Ladder Signs and the Standard Gallows Signs.

We use Royal Mail to send our smaller signs and they have also informed us that services have been disrupted due to staff shortage and an overwhelming amount of post currently being processed. So although orders are sent 1st class, it may take much longer than usual to receive your order.

Bramble Signs would like to reassure all of our customers that we are still very much "Open" and will continue to design and manufacture signs and gifts for as long as possible. We are extremely busy and priorotising orders on a first come first served basis.

As a small Family run business living and working in a remote location we are still operational with reduced staff, designing, manufacturing and dispatching orders. Non-family members of our team are self-isolating at home. We are following strict hygiene guidelines and protecting ourselves and our products and minimising any contact with the outside world.

We will continue to supply our products as quickly as possible until such time our timber supplies run out and our couriers stop delivering or we are advised to close.

We wish to use this opportunity to wish everyone good health, look after yourself and your loved ones, and please follow the Government guidelines for the prevention of spreading the virus.
